A Study on the Effectiveness of School Setting Cognitive behavioral Program for Children with the Propensity of ADHD, Parents and Teachers

Abstract
This study focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of the cognitive behavioral program for children with the propensity of ADHD, parents, and teachers to the enhancement of the social skills and self-control capacity of the children in school settings. d the parents. ``Special Friendship Club``, ``Special Parents Club``, and ``Special Teachers Club`` were weekly conducted throughout six weeks; 80 minutes, twice a week for the children, 90 minutes, once a week for the parents and the teachers. For evaluating theeffectiveness, this research design, as a quasi-experimental design, a non- equivalent control group pretest-post design and was implemented Mann- Whitney U Test and Wilcoxen Matched Pairs Signed-Rank Test. As a result, in comparison to the control group, in dealing with children with the propensity of ADHD, the suppression social skills of the teachers, and the self -regulation capacity of the parents and the teachers showed statistically significant improvements. The program evaluated in this study willcontribute to the enhancement of professionalism and effectiveness of social welfare intervention for children with the propensity of ADHD in school settings.
